Puzzle Maker is a free resource and allows you to create Word Searches, Crossword puzzles, mazes, Hidden messages and much more.
It is very easy to use and the puzzles can be created in varying sizes.
Classroom ideas
1. Teachers could use it to create puzzles containing vocabulary, topics, spelling words the children are currently studying.
2. The children can create their own puzzle to share with a friend (This can be very powerful, the child had to understand the concept before they can ask questions about it).
3. Create crossword puzzles to check understanding of concepts, answer questions to books etc.
