I have just discovered the website big huge labs. The site allows you to create a variety of different genres for posters. I love this resource as it is open ended and can be used across multiple curriculum areas.

Ways you could use this in the classroom.
1.The children could read a story and then create a movie poster from the book.
2. The class could take a character from a book and write a movie for that character (eg/ The big bad wolf does Paris).
3. You could create a movie poster as a writing prompt.
4. Children could create a movie poster as a historical event.
